Value Proposition
The specific value a customer gets from a product, stated in their terms: the problem it solves and the outcome it delivers, not the features it has.
Marketing
When you'd see it: Landing pages, sales pitches, and product strategy. 'What's the value prop?' asks for the customer outcome, not the feature list.
Why it matters: Customers buy outcomes, not features. A value proposition framed around what the product does for the user converts; one that lists what the product has does not.
